While I sleep, I grind my teeth. I came to the practice to discuss getting Botox to relax my jaw muscle. I proceeded and I had the guard for 3 months when I noticed my bite was off. This was confirmed while at a dental cleaning with my regular dentist. I came back and it was discovered that the small guard I am to wear for 15 minutes in the morning to readjust my jaw, wasn’t the right device! What they gave me was the mold for it! The company missed making it from the mold and the staff member who fitted me the day I picked it up didn’t notice it! I received the device but now 3-4 months later, I’m in the same place. My bite is off, bottom front teeth hitting the back of my upper front teeth. There is a gap between my back teeth. My regular dentist is concerned about wear on my front teeth. I even added jaw exercises which I googled, was not told about by the office. The exercises aren’t helping. I’m not happy with the mouth guard or the service of the office. I will be calling tomorrow. but I’m sure there is no warranty due to the customization. I don’t feel comfortable wearing this any longer.
